Profile: Albion Cricket Club of Guyana is renown to produce talented cricketers and Mahendra Kanhai just keeps that “tradition” going. A solid right hander, Kanhai proved to the Sunrise selectors in 2001 by scoring over 400 runs for Vikings and was very much instrumental in Vikings triple success in the same year. A year later he made his debut for Sunrise and has since been the “baby” of the team. His fielding that complement his part time off breaks is considered the best in the team and one can only expect good things from the subdue Kanhai. |
